Fishing Trip - Ring-billed Gulls and Double-crested Cormorant

(Larus delawarensis and Phalacrocorax auitus)

Three Ring-billed Gulls descended on a Double-crested Cormorant when it emerged from beneath the water with a fish.

More than one fish may have been involved in the fracas. The gull on the right clearly has a fish in its mouth. The one on the left may as well. Only the cormorant's tail is visible in the picture because it dove. The gulls may or may not have stolen its fish.
